The Chubb New Zealand electronic security business has re-secured a major contract with Auckland University that will involve the planned maintenance for their five leading sites. Chubb will also undertake the remedial service work, do and charge work and small to medium contract work.

With the large number of people on site including more than 30,000 students and 4000 staff, the security and safety requirements for the campus are demanding and challenging. Chubb provides an integrated security solution to the University including service, maintenance and installation of the facilities CCTV, access control, intruder detection and monitoring systems.
Chubb has been the sole supplier for Auckland University for the last 8 years with the quality of service provided in the past being the key reason for re-securing the account said Darryl Bell, Northern Regional Manager - Fire & Security Services.
“We competed in an open tender situation as per University policy due to our length of time involved with the client and the quality of service, specialist advice, in-depth knowledge of the site and strong relationship with the client meant we were able to re-secure the contract.”
