CORETM Technology: Safer, Easier & Quicker
CORE™ Technology is a revolutionary turning point in rescue tool technology. CORE™ Technology (Coaxial Rescue Equipment Technology) refers to the hoses, couplers and valves of a rescue system and the way hydraulic oil is directed from the pump to the tool and vice versa. CORE™ Technology is a one hose system, consisting of a high pressure inner hose inside a low pressure outer hose. Compared to working with a traditional dual hose system, working with CORE™ is safer, easier & quicker.
Advanced blade design
To be able to cut modern car constructions, blade design is an important part of the solution. The revolutionary Holmatro NCTTM cutter blades, with their characteristic 90° blade angle, have a huge opening at the tips. They easily surround the wide pillars of modern cars. The U-shape of the NCTTM blades automatically pulls the material to the recess which is the point with the highest cutting force. The result is superior cutting performance. Modern vehicle constructions and new hard materials are cut with far more efficiency and at a much lower working pressure than is possible with general purpose blades.
Flat central i-Bolt construction
The i-Bolt squeezes the blades together more tightly, resulting in less blade separation and improved cutting performance. The much flatter design of the revolutionary i-Bolt also provides better access in narrow spaces.
Pumps
A range of hand, foot and motor pumps are available for single and multi-tool operation. Pumps can be permanently mounted in vehicles with fixed hose-reels or portable with separate hoses in a range of colours and lengths.
Spreaders
Spreaders provide a fire fighter the ability to create space for cutting and access to a crashed vehicle. The Holmatro range of spreaders provides users with options on spreading force, blade length, tip and pulling chain options.
Rams
Rams are used (with spreaders) to create space to assist with crash patient extrication. Holmatro has a wide range of single and double extension rams, ram supports, extension pipes, adaptors and chains.
Combi tools
Combi tools are a single tool capable of providing spreading and cutting. They are suitable for use on smaller fire appliances and/or aviation incidents due to their portability.
PowerShore
PowerShore provides users with either a hydraulic or manual system of providing shoring and stabilisation in vehicle extrication, heavy vehicle rescue, trench collapse or urban search and rescue.
Lifting bags
The Holmatro range of high and lower pressure pneumatic lifting bags provide the capability of lifting a wide range of heavy items from 1 to 67 tonnes a distance up to 620mm (depending on bag type).
