Selection of Foam

Different types of Foam are:

Niagara –AR-FFFP
Niagara can be used on polar solvents as well as hydrocarbons. It extinguishes fire through a ‘film-forming’ action. Niagara is the worlds first UL listed high fluidity multi-purpose foam and is gentle on the environment. Typical applications include municipal fire departments, hydrocarbon and solvent bulk storage tank protection, process areas, warehousing, road / rail loading racks, power stations, marine terminals and offshore platform protection.

Alcoseal – AR-FFFP
Alcoseal provides maximum protection against both hydrocarbons and polar solvents. The film forming action ensures outstanding flame knockdown performance. It is used extensively by industrial and municipal fire departments. Typical applications include hydrocarbon storage tanks process areas, warehousing, road / rail loading racks, power stations, marine terminals and offshore platforms.

Petroseal 3 and 6 - FFFP
Petroseal is a superior quality Film Forming Fluoroprotein (FFFP) fire fighting foam concentrate for extinguishing and securing flammable hydrocarbon liquid fires. It is used extensively on Rapid Intervention Vehicles at major international airports and military bases where fast extinguishment and post-fire security with limited quantities of foam are essential. Other typical applications include hydrocarbon storage tanks process areas, warehousing, road / rail loading racks, power stations, marine terminals and offshore platforms.

TankmasterTM (FP70+)
Tankmaster™ is a superior quality Fluoroprotein (FP) fire fighting foam concentrate for extinguishing and securing flammable hydrocarbon liquid fires. In particular it is a powerful and cost-effective agent for the protection of a wide range of hydrocarbons including crude oil, regular leaded gasoline, unleaded gasoline containing up to 20% Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE), and pure MTBE. Formerly known as FP70 Plus, it is used extensively by major oil and petrochemical companies for hydrocarbon, MTBE and blended unleaded gasoline storage tank fire protection around the world. Other typical applications include process areas, road/rail loading racks, power stations, marine terminals and airports.

Tridol S 1, 3 and 6 – AFFF
Tridol S is a superior quality synthetic Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) concentrate for extinguishing and securing flammable hydrocarbon liquid fires. It is used extensively on Rapid Intervention Vehicles (RIV) at major international airports and military bases where fast extinguishment with limited quantities of foam is essential for saving life. Other applications include hydrocarbon storage tanks, process areas, warehouses, road / rail loading racks, power stations, marine terminals and offshore platforms.

Tridol ATF 1-3, 3-3, 3-6 - AR- AFFF
Tridol ATF is a cost-effective Alcohol Resistant Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AR-AFFF) for extinguishing and securing flammable hydrocarbon and polar solvent liquid fires. Typical applications include hydrocarbon storage tanks, process areas, warehouses, road/rail loading racks, power stations, marine terminals and offshore platforms.

Expandol
Expandol is a superior quality high expansion fire fighting foam concentrate for extinguishing and securing flammable hydrocarbon liquid fires. It is extremely economical due to its expansion properties.

Forexpan S
Angus Forexpan S is a synthetic fire fighting foam concentrate designed for Class A applications such as forestry and bushfire control, structural fires, tyre and paper fires. Highly versatile, it can be used with a wide range of equipment for different methods of application like ground attack, structural attack, aerial attack, CAF system.

Trainol – Synthetic Based Training Foam
Trainol is a blend of highly active synthetic foaming agents specifically formulated to give the lowest environmental impacts combined with drainage and flow characteristics similar to film forming foam.
